MANILA - Secretaries Mark Villar of the Department of Public Works and Highways and Alfonso Cusi of the Department Energy, are the richest Cabinet members of 2017, their statements of assets, liabilities, and net worth (SALN) revealed.
Villar, whose family has interests in property and shopping malls, has a net worth of P1.407 billion, a little higher than last year's P1.409 billion.
Cusi, meanwhile, became the only other billionaire Cabinet member as his net worth reached P1.356 billion in 2017.
The SALNs also showed National Anti-Poverty Commission Secretary Liza Maza as the least wealthy Cabinet member, with a net worth of P1.187 million.
